Job Description

We are looking for a Mechatronics Engineer who wants to work practically and analytically with sensors, measurement data, and testing. You will be involved in selecting the right sensors, conducting tests, and developing solutions that help us understand how our components function in various situations. The work combines technology, problem-solving, and collaboration with several specialists.

In this role, you will among other things:

• Select and test various sensors, such as accelerometers, pressure and temperature sensors, strain gauges, microphones, shock-pulse, and Eddy current.
• Plan and execute tests both in laboratory environments and in real operational environments.
• Collect and analyze measurement data at different stages of development.
• Develop and improve analysis methods and solutions that are later implemented in C++.
• Work with Matlab and Python to process and analyze data.
• Test new code in our hardware rig and conduct tests at customer sites when needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has an education in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar.
• Has experience with sensors, measurement technology, or signal processing.
• Is familiar with Matlab, Python, and preferably C++.
• Enjoys combining analytical work with practical testing.
• Has an interest in or experience with structural analysis/FEM (meritorious, not required).
• Is curious, meticulous, and enjoys working with others.
